Objective

Studio 66 Photography is a small, independent photography studio in Cedar City, Utah. Their services range from weddings, family portraits and individual headshots. Their intention is to provide a photography service that is welcoming, friendly and trustworthy. The studio is located on historic main street that over looks the town. They want to ensure that their brand reflects their passion for their small town and their love for the community.

Overview

To create a warm logo for Studio 66 Photography, inspiration was drawn from two Utah flowers: the Indian Paintbrush and the Evening Primrose. A crest logo was created with the typeface Sweet Sans that wraps around a bouquet illustration. Alternatively the logo can be stacked and the symbol can be used as a design element to create patterns. The soft color palette that is a nod to the deserts of Southern Utah. With these design decisions, Studio 66 Photography is able to embody their beloved town and translate their services to their community.
